About Dr. Sushil Kumar :-

Research Interests: Magnetotellurics studies, Remote Sensing & GIS, Electrical Resistivity method/geomorphological studies for Groundwater exploration. Ongoing research: Conducted ERT and SRT surveys for the identification of the major thrusting zones / Active faults in the various regions of Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand. Educational Qualifications: Ph. D.: from the Department of Geophysics, Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra on topic entitled as “Topography correction of Magnetotelluric data and its application to Sikkim Himalaya” under the joint supervision of Prof. B.S. Chaudhary, Department of Geophysics, Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra and Dr. Prasanta K. Patro, Principal Scientist, Magnetotellurics, CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, Hyderabad in 2019.
